Pianokwartet Corneille
Tickets
Schumann achieved perfection with his piano quartet; each part is more contagious than the next. Most of what you hear is Schumann’s tempestuous alter ego Florestan, ‘who anticipates all that is to come, and everything new and extraordinary beforehand’. Schumann is performed often, but that doesn’t go for Fauré’s first. Time for an astonishing discovery; Fauré incorporated his broken heart after Marianne Viardot, daughter of the famous singer Pauline Viardot-García had ended their engagement.
A delicious piece of apple pie is included in the ticket price. You are welcome to relax in our foyer before or after the concert. A free Channel Classics CD is included in the ticket price for this series!
To keep waiting times down to an absolute minimum, this concert will make use of the ‘wallet-less intermission’ concept. Visitors are asked to pay for their intermission drink in advance when ordering their tickets: the perfect solution for enjoying your company and your drink as long as possible!
