Blue Sands & Hermine Deurloo

Indie jazz duo Blue Sands proves that voice and bass can be both an exciting and intimate combination. Jazz, grunge, classical music, and video games — singer Esther Van Hees and bass guitarist Reindert Kragt draw inspiration from any genre and make it entirely their own. Armed with an arsenal of effect pedals, the duo creates an inviting universe where not only the listener, but also fellow musicians are warmly welcomed. They have collaborated with artists such as Kika Sprangers, Ben van Gelder, Jef Neve, Jeroen van Vliet, and harmonica player Hermine Deurloo, who joins them on stage today. The duo will perform music from their latest album “For You,” for which they won an Edison Award and received four stars from De Volkskrant.

Schedule

The doors of M open at 4:00 PM, where you can enjoy a drink and music from the DJ. The concert by Blue Sands & Anton Goudsmit starts at 5:00 PM and runs until 6:15 PM. To wrap things up nicely, the DJ will keep playing until 7:00 PM.

Concert rescheduled and program change

Due to production circumstances, this concert has been rescheduled from Saturday, January 17, to Saturday, October 3. As a result of this change, Anton Goudsmit will unfortunately no longer be able to accompany the duo on stage. Harmonica player Hermine Deurloo will replace him. Ticket buyers have been informed of this change by email.
