Amsterdam-based band The Hi-Stakes revive the golden age of Rhythm & Blues with a fresh, contemporary twist. Led by frontman Sam Ghezzi, the five-piece blends the swing of Louis Jordan, the blues of Percy Mayfield and the irresistible boogaloo of the late 1950s into a groovy, original sound. From soulful blues ballads to explosive Rhythm & Blues, standing still simply isn’t an option. In January 2027, the band will release their third album, “This Is Boogaloo,” breathing new life into the iconic dance style. Experience the album live at So What’s Next Club Sessions!
Schedule
The doors of M open at 4:00 PM, where you can enjoy a drink and music from the DJ. The concert starts at 5:00 PM and runs until 6:15 PM. To wrap things up nicely, the DJ will keep playing until 7:00 PM.
