The Rotterdam-based Nederbiet band The Kik has established itself as one of the most versatile bands in the Netherlands. With their new album Bal Populaire, Dave Von Raven and his band focus on original work, featuring ten new tracks and two covers. Expect an evening filled with chansons, tear-jerkers, and heartfelt ballads. The band, consisting of singer Dave Von Raven, bassist Marcel Groenewegen, guitarist Arjan Spies, drummer Ries Doms, and keyboardist Paul Zoontjens, has been operating from Rotterdam since 2011. In 2013, they served as the house band on De Wereld Draait Door and have since performed various club tours and festival appearances.
