From traditional costumes and musical styles to comedy and harira: the second edition of the Bladi Festival promises once again to be a celebration of Morocco’s rich culture. On Saturday 26 September, Muziekgebouw Eindhoven will be transformed for a day into a bustling souk featuring authentic handicrafts; let yourself be surprised by the live performances or take part in the percussion workshop. Of course, there will be no shortage of delicious food and drink from Moroccan cuisine. Part of the festival is a spectacular performance by Drums United, led by Lucas van Merwijk, alongside top international musicians, Moroccan percussionists and talents from the TROMP Academy. An energetic mix of rhythms and traditions that transcends borders.
Whether your roots lie in Morocco or you’re simply curious about the culture, this family festival will transport you to Marrakesh for a while! Tickets for Bladi 2026 will be available soon.

Your World, Your Music
Bladi Festival is part of the ‘Your World, Your Music’ programme series. Through this initiative, Muziekgebouw Eindhoven aims to bring the world to the city by spotlighting a specific culture each time. To this end, it actively collaborates with ambassadors who know that culture like no one else. In this way, it becomes a festival for and by the community. Under this banner, Muziekgebouw Eindhoven organises other successful festivals such as the Turkish festival Merhaba Eindhoven and the Polish Witaj Eindhoven.
Bladi Festival is made possible by ambassadors Loubna Bakra, Najat Toub, Naima El Jaouhari & Batoul Heijdenrijk-Zohair.
