The Doré Quartet is an emerging quartet with young members from Italy and Spain. Founded in 2021 at the Conservatorium Maastricht by four master’s students with a shared passion for chamber music, their goal is to explore the string quartet repertoire and give their performances a unique and elegant touch, engaging the audience with every note. The quartet consists of violinists Ilaria Taioli and Samuele Di Gioia, violist José Manuel Muriel López, and cellist Caterina Vannoni.

After the concert

A lunchtime concert wouldn’t be complete without a delicious lunch. That’s why after the concert, you can enjoy a tasty homemade soup and fresh bread in the Stadsfoyer. You can order this directly with your ticket. Will you stay for a while? We’d love that!

Lunchtime Concerts

Our lunchtime concerts are a delight to experience, both literally and figuratively! Take a break in the middle of the day with an hour of relaxation during a lovely concert in the Kleine Zaal. It’s the perfect way to break up your day! From piano recitals to chamber music and wind ensembles, the program is varied and refreshing. Because we believe that emerging talent deserves a stage, our lunchtime concerts feature (recently graduated) students, competition winners, and other rising stars.
