The Spanish vocalist Paloma Lázaro Arteaga will present her debut album *Ritual* this afternoon, a blend of jazz, pop, world music, and free improvisations. Along with Joost Lijbaart (drums), Sjoerd van Eijck (piano), and Johannes Fend (double bass), she combines influences from J.S. Bach, Avishai Cohen, and Tigran Hamasyan. As a singer, she draws inspiration from artists such as Mercedes Sosa and Silvia Perez Cruz. *Ritual* is a tribute to ancestors, the primitive, and nature, aiming to connect ancient rituals with music and art in a time when these traditions are at risk of disappearing.

After the concert

A lunchtime concert is, of course, not complete without a delicious lunch. Therefore, after the concert, you can enjoy a flavorful homemade soup and freshly baked bread in the City Foyer. You can add this to your ticket right away! Planning to stay a bit longer? That sounds great!

Lunchtime Concerts

Our lunchtime concerts are a pleasure to experience—both literally and figuratively! Taking an hour to relax in the middle of the day with a delightful concert in the Small Hall really breaks up the day nicely. From piano recitals to chamber music and brass ensembles, the offerings are diverse and innovative. Since we believe emerging talent deserves a platform, our lunchtime concerts feature (recently graduated) students, competition winners, and other budding talents.
