Ron Cha Trio

The Amsterdam-based Ron Cha Trio brings a mix of original compositions and jazz standards to So What’s Next Club Sessions. With the release of their 2025 debut album Barikha, the trio—pianist Ron Cha, bassist Tijs Klaassen and drummer Wouter Kühne—immediately established a distinctive sound of their own. Drawing inspiration from both the Great American Songbook and Indian folk music, Cha, who has previously collaborated with artists including Lizzy McAlpine and Laufey, blends his Indian heritage with influences from modern jazz and gospel. His compositions combine singer-songwriter-inspired melodies with improvisation as an essential ingredient.

The doors of M open at 4:00 PM, where you can enjoy a drink and music from the DJ. The concert starts at 5:00 PM and runs until 6:15 PM. To wrap things up nicely, the DJ will keep playing until 7:00 PM.
