Alongside her social engagement, she has been creating unique wearable artworks for many years, using post-production materials, discarded clothing and materials that were never originally intended to be worn. Through her designs, she gives these materials a second life, demonstrating how sustainability, craftsmanship and art can reinforce one another. Crocheted tablecloths, embroidered fabrics and other traditional textiles are transformed into contemporary wearable artworks. In this way, memories, family history and craftsmanship take on new meaning on the catwalk. With her latest collection, Echa Polski (Echoes of Poland), Violetta takes the audience on a journey through Polish culture.
