Asaf Avidan is coming to Muziekgebouw Eindhoven with his tour surrounding his new album Unfurl. After a period of intimate solo performances, he is back on stage with a full band for the first time in three years. As Asaf Avidan & The Mojos, he released ‘The Reckoning’ in 2008, and thanks to the Wankelmut remix, ‘One Day / Reckoning Song’ became a number 1 hit throughout Europe. Avidan is best known for his raw, distinctive vocal sound, which is often compared to artists such as Robert Plant, Janis Joplin, and Macy Gray. That same voice lends his mix of folk, rock, and blues a direct, sometimes almost elusive intensity. This new live show features both new work from Unfurl and music from earlier albums.
