Double bassist, singer, and composer Avishai Cohen is regarded worldwide as one of the most influential bassists of our time. Over the past twenty-five years, he has become a heavyweight in contemporary jazz. Since being discovered by Chick Corea, he has collaborated with major names such as Bobby McFerrin and Alicia Keys. His own compositions and physical playing are particularly striking.
