Amsterdam-based new wave band Cardigan Inn seamlessly blends the nostalgia of ’80s synthpop with raw energy and a modern edge. Think David Byrne fronting Parquet Courts, or a more glamorous take on New Order. Their music—infused with themes of love, longing, and digital mysticism—is driven by charismatic frontman Pablo Nollet. In 2025, they appeared at festivals including Motel Mozaïque, Lowlands, and Into The Great Wide Open, and shared stages with acts such as Franz Ferdinand and Good Kid. Franz Ferdinand’s Alex Kapranos called them “absolutely incredible” and predicted you’ll be hearing a lot more of them.
