CLOSE UP lets you get closer to performers than ever before. You will be guided through a series of intimate microconcerts and experience music from the front row, along with all the subtleties, expressive value and theatrical energy it holds. CLOSE UP is brought to you by Yi-Ping Yang, Kevin Chen and Agostinho Sequeira. All three former prize winners of the TROMP International Percussion Competition, have outstanding international track records in the music industry.
The ticket price includes the entrance fee for the van Abbe museum. Tickets for this event are also valid for a museum visit before or after the concert.

Enjoy the best that percussion has to offer during the TROMP Festival, once every two years in a range of venues in Eindhoven. Visit legendary concerts by the greatest percussion players and learn something new in one of the many workshops programmed. The TROMP Festival is traditionally concluded by the grand final of the prestigious TROMP International Percussion Competition – the leading competition for percussionists worldwide.
