Each edition of Club Solange sees singer Solange Rose bring together a selection of talented artists and vocalists, each with their own unique story. The music for the evening is carefully curated and holds special meaning for both Solange and her guests. As such, Club Solange is more than just an ordinary concert night; it is an experience where music and personal stories intertwine. This third edition is entirely dedicated to the theme of equal society. A fitting focus, as it takes place on the Dutch Design Week’s mission day of the same name. On this special evening, Solange shares the stage with a host of fellow artists and vocalists, from raw blues to tender soul, from familiar pop songs with a twist to irresistibly danceable hits. They are joined by a live band led by Jeroen Ermens and backing vocalist Lois. This time, documentary maker Sinan Can and writer Zoë Papaikonomou will also be special guests.
De artiesten worden later bekendgemaakt.
Solange Rose
About the host
Singer Solange Rosendaal is a proud resident of Eindhoven, where she is dedicated to helping others realise their musical dreams. Solange herself was once hailed as “one of the greatest discoveries of Club Dauphine” in Amsterdam by talent scout Martijn Roos, and praised for her vocal sound by none other than Frank McComb, with whom she has shared the stage. She also performed as the support act for Berget Lewis. With Club Solange, her own musical dream is coming true: an evening where music takes on a deeper meaning through the personal stories of the artists.

Robbert Duijf
Robbert Duijf delivers his music with purity, honesty and passion. His voice is heartfelt and full of devotion. By singing and playing straight from the heart, he forges a deep connection with his audience. In his solo performances, he shares stories with a message, bringing moments of singing, laughter, applause, and the occasional tear. Music that unites and lifts the spirit. Especially in these times, this is more important than ever. His sound is a blend of gospel and Delta blues, with a touch of British-American folk, inspired by Charley Patton, Skip James, Willie Dixon, Blind Willie Johnson, Dave Van Ronk, John Lee Hooker and Michael de Jong.

Sanna Kroon
“If you won’t say it, I will”, that’s the motto of 25-year-old Sanna Kroon. With this as her guiding principle, she and her three-piece band create raw Dutch-language music that shies away from no subject. Sanna’s sound is a fusion of storytelling and rock, carried by brooding productions with spoken word as the common thread. Through this, Sanna does not fear confrontation; she is unafraid to tackle difficult themes, giving words to what we would often rather leave unsaid. Her years of experience in theatre form the foundation for a narrative and sincere performance in which non-fiction and recognition are central, making her a fitting act for this edition of Club Solange.

Sinan Can
Guest
For documentary maker Sinan Can, music plays an important role in his, at times heavy, life. It helps him put things into perspective, provides release, and allows him to process emotions. If there’s one thing he regrets, it’s never having learned to play an instrument. That’s why, together with Sinan, we aim to give sound to the deep emotions that music evokes.

Zoë Papaikonomou
Guest
Zoë Papaikonomou is a writer and investigative journalist whose work centres on diversity, inclusion, and equality. Within these themes, she primarily explores the workings of power. Zoë is the co-author of three books: Heb je een boze moslim voor mij? (2018), De Inclusiemarathon (2021), and Ongemakkelijke Gesprekken – Survivalgids (2024). She also garners significant attention online for her sharp critiques of how news articles often fall short when it comes to diversity, inclusion, and equality. Especially for Dutch Design Week, she will present a month-long exhibition at M to further amplify the Equal Society message.
