With his second album, In Search Of The Lost Chord, jazz pianist Daan Herweg marks a new milestone in his impressive career. After more than 15 years of experience as a performer and composer—ranging from major pop acts to free improvisation and everything in between—he has finally found his unique musical voice. The (inter)national press praises his work as accessible, captivating jazz that both moves and surprises, featuring colorful, narrative compositions. His improvisations are adventurous and unpredictable, with a bold, daring edge. Herweg’s influences are diverse, spanning from Debussy and Herbie Hancock to Marcel Proust and gangsta rap.
