Texan Americana singer-songwriter David Ramirez is known for his raw baritone voice, sometimes reminiscent of Ryan Adams. After six studio albums and countless collaborations, he returns with “All The Not So Gentle Reminders,” his most personal and ambitious record to date. The album was created in complete freedom, without commercial pressure. In dreamy, richly arranged songs, he explores memory, hope, and the power of music itself. For the first time, he also took on the role of co-producer. Add his gifted songwriting to the mix, and it’s clear why he’s often mentioned in the same breath as Jason Isbell and John Fullbright. In 2023 he performed solo on our stage — this time he’s back with a band!
