Eindje van de Week is the talk show for the Brainport Eindhoven region, where Loubna Bakra and Hans Matheeuwsen welcome inspiring guests this week around the theme: the growth of Eindhoven. With the municipal elections on March 18 approaching, the topic is more relevant than ever. How will the city continue to grow, and who decides about that? In the coming years, around 20,000 new residents will be added to the city centre. Will we still recognize our city among all the construction cranes, and are residents sufficiently involved in the plans? Guests include Ingrid de Boer, former director of Woonbedrijf, and Joan van de Laar, an active resident of the Oud-Woensel neighbourhood. Willem van Dullemen of the Platform Eindhovense Amateur Voetbalverenigingen also joins the conversation about space and inclusivity in amateur football. Singer-songwriter Iris Penning looks back on the past week, talks about her new EP and is the musical guest.
