During this evening, Elif & Mercan and Bir İz take you into the rich tradition of Anatolian music in the intimate setting of M. Elif & Mercan perform Anatolian folk songs together. With Elif on the saz and Mercan on guitar, they connect with their audience through a traditional and emotionally rich repertoire. Bir İz brings Anatolian folk music and protest songs to life with their own distinctive sound, while preserving the soul of the songs. The music originates from Anatolia, a region where different cultures come together and multiple languages coexist. The band members come from various parts of the Netherlands, with roots in Türkiye.
