1960s electric folk, 1970s rock à la The Babies, and storytelling lyrics in the style of Bob Dylan: Fantastic Cat proves that this is a winning combination. Although the band started as a supergroup, with members Don DiLego, Anthony D’Amato, Brian Dunne, and Mike Montali each having successful solo careers, two years ago, they were still a rock band with a small fanbase. This changed with their debut album The Very Best Of Fantastic Cat. For their new album Now That’s What I Call Fantastic Cat, they wrote the songs together for the first time. The result is a collection of moving and funny songs with catchy melodies, beautiful harmonies, and surprising arrangements.

Heartland Drive combines Belgian Americana and folk-rock with energetic pop anthems. The band, made up of experienced musicians including guitarist Tim Toegaert, bassist Moreno Claes, drummer Eric Bosteels, keyboardist Pedro Gordts, and frontman Steven Vergauwen, has a rich musical history and has performed with top artists like Hooverphonic and Laura Tesoro. Their new album “Boys of Yesteryear,” released in September, takes you on a melodic journey full of powerful folk-pop and rock. Tonight, you’ll see the band as the support act for Fantastic Cat.
