After the great success of their theatre series Ach, Zalig Man…, Frank Lammers and JW Roy return to the stage with a new show: Geboren Vrienden (Born Friends). Together with their backing band De Matjes, the brass ensemble Hekwerk XS, and the Duizel nuns Theophilia and Gonzala, they present a performance in which music, humour, and friendship take centre stage, delivered with the unmistakable ease and charm of Brabant. Alongside their own songs, Lammers and Roy delve deep into the rich Brabant Songbook, performing works by artists such as Gerard van Maasakkers, ‘t Dommelvolk, Jantje Koopmans, Jo Hogendoorn, and Bots. They also give classics by artists such as Willie Nelson, André Hazes, and Bon Jovi a surprising regional twist. This performance can be seen exclusively at Muziekgebouw Eindhoven!
