Since her breakthrough in the 1990s with the alternative rock hit ‘Walk This World’ from the album ‘Oyster’, Heather Nova has become a much-loved singer-songwriter. Her music spans alternative rock, singer-songwriter and indie folk, combining melancholy and introspection with warmth and hope. Her clear, at times fragile voice sounds beautiful in both intimate acoustic tracks and richly arranged songs featuring strings and rock production. This autumn sees the release of her fourteenth studio album ‘The Orchard’, featuring emotionally layered songs that sound both hopeful and light. During her concert at Muziekgebouw Eindhoven, Nova will perform both new music and familiar favourites from her rich musical career.
Fans of Sarah McLachlan, Suzanne Vega and The Cranberries are likely to feel right at home with Heather Nova.
