On March 14, 2025, Herman van Veen celebrated his eightieth birthday. This artist from Utrecht began his remarkable career in 1965 with the solo show Harlekijn and has since become a cultural icon. Van Veen has no fewer than 180 CDs, 80 books, 24 plays, and a series of paintings to his name. To conclude his anniversary year, he returns one final time to Muziekgebouw Eindhoven with the show Eighty Years, all set in a festive Christmas atmosphere.

The program remains a surprise, but his performances are always met with praise.
