The West Flemish dialect rock band Het Zesde Metaal has been a staple in the Belgian music scene since 2005. With award-winning albums like “Nie Voe Kinders,” “Calais,” and “Skepsels,” and tracks such as “Ploegsteert” and “Naar De Wuppe,” the band has made a significant mark. In January 2024, the quintet released their most personal album yet, “Het Langste Jaar,” just a few months after the passing of their close friend and multi-instrumentalist Tom Pintens, who completed the album as its producer. However, frontman Wannes Cappelle and his band are not standing still. The band is embarking on a theater tour and won’t skip Eindhoven! Tonight, the songs from “Het Langste Jaar” take center stage, performed live in an intimate setting, complemented by fresh versions of HZM classics.
