Idema/Serierse Quartet

Gijs Idema and Anna Serierse are constantly exploring new ways to merge guitar and voice – something they excel at. On their latest album “Serenade in Blue,” their ten-year evolution shines through in a fresh take on the Great American Songbook. Well-known pieces gain new depth through inventive arrangements and a carefully curated repertoire. Their previous two albums already brought notable highlights, including an Edison Award nomination, several release tours, and a performance at the North Sea Jazz Festival in 2024. Today, they are joined by Cas Jiskoot on bass and Tim Hennekes on drums.
