This Indian comedian rose to global fame through his YouTube series ‘Pretentious Movie Reviews’, in which he and fellow comedian Biswa Kalyan Rath humorously discussed the shortcomings of old Bollywood films. His stand-up special on Amazon Prime, ‘Keep It Real’, is widely regarded as one of the best in the history of Indian stand-up comedy. The comedian is known for his calm stage presence and his tightly constructed material; his performances are based on precision rather than spectacle, which has helped him build a loyal international following. We first welcomed Gill to Eindhoven in 2024, and now he’s returning with his latest comedy show, Not This Again.
