Kasper Rietkerk

Mtuli-award-winning jazz talent Kasper Rietkerk brings his latest project to Muziekgebouw Eindhoven! Kasper started playing the saxophonists like Cannonball Adderley, Kenny Garrett, and Paul Desmond. He has won an Edison Jazz Award, the VDEF Next Step Award from the VandenEnde Foundation, and the prestigious Brubeck Living Legacy Prize. With the prize money from the latter, and with jazz guitarist John Parricelli, bassist Tom Herbert, and drummer Jonah Evans, he recorded the album The Happy Worrier. A record filled with an atmospheric sound and exquisite compositions, memorable themes, and unexpected twists.

Schedule

The doors of M open at 4:00 PM, where you can enjoy a drink and music from the DJ. The concert by Blue Sands & Anton Goudsmit starts at 5:00 PM and runs until 6:15 PM. To wrap things up nicely, the DJ will keep playing until 7:00 PM.
