The originally Ukrainian Katie Koss (Katja Poltavets) takes you on a journey with her sultry and soulful jazz-pop, sharing her self-study and her perspective on the world. Her modern and narrative style, characterized by her husky voice, signature guitar playing, and melodic bass as a common thread, is inspired by Lianne La Havas, Arlo Parks, and Leon Bridges. Koss toured as an OOR talent with the Popronde, and in the fall of 2022, she released her debut EP “i’m changing my mind.” The album has already garnered a million streams and has shown the world who Katie Koss is. In early 2024, she will release her new EP “i’m getting better,” which she will perform at Blue Note ClubSessions.
