At just 18 years old, Kevin Chen already boasts an impressive array of accolades: First Prize at the International Franz Liszt Piano Competition 2021, First Prize at the Concours de Genève 2022, and yet another First Prize at the Arthur Rubinstein Competition. What will 2024 bring? In any case, it promises a magnificent recital at Muziekgebouw Eindhoven. The young Canadian will perform works by two piano giants: the Polish Chopin and the cosmopolitan Hungarian Liszt. The French magazine Diapason praised Chen as “an authentic artist with beautiful sensitivity and remarkable mastery.”

Program

Chopin – Variations on “Là ci darem la mano”
Chopin – Ballade No. 4
Liszt – Ballade No. 2
Liszt – Réminiscences de Don Juan
