Clarinetist Nynke Dijkstra (2004) won prizes at a young age at, among others, the Netherlands Clarinet Competition and the Princess Christina Competition. She studies at Codarts with, among others, Julien Hervé and plays in the National Youth Orchestra. Soprano Levy Pletting (2001) sang with the National Children’s Choir in projects with top orchestras and gained solo experience through appearances on Podium Witteman and in masterclasses with Dame Emma Kirkby and Andreas Scholl. She studies at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and is involved in various opera productions and personal projects. Together, they combine their talents in a special recital, accompanied by pianist Mirsa Adami.

After the concert

A lunchtime concert is, of course, not complete without a delicious lunch. After the concert, enjoy a flavorful homemade soup and freshly baked bread in the Stadsfoyer. You can add this directly to your ticket!

Club TalentEmpowerment

Talent alone is not enough. Club TalentEmpowerment (ClubTE) is a network of companies that understands that talent makes the difference. In elite sports and music, but just as much within their own organisations. ClubTE supports more than 45 athletes and 11 musicians by enabling the services of TalentEmpowerment. This means that athletes and musicians receive guidance in their athletic, musical, and social development, as well as additional support within their elite sports and music programmes. ClubTE also serves as a valuable network for athletes and musicians to develop socially and as a strong knowledge network for the business sector.

Lunchtime concerts

Our lunchtime concerts are a delight to experience: both literally and figuratively! Taking a break in the middle of the day to relax for an hour with a nice concert in the Small Hall really makes the day feel refreshing. From piano recitals to chamber music and brass ensembles, the offerings are varied and innovative. Since we believe that emerging talent deserves a platform, our lunchtime concerts feature (recently graduated) students, competition winners, and other promising gems.
