Mariza

The Mozambican-born Mariza grew up in the traditional Mouraria district of Lisbon. Here, she was captivated at a very young age by the musical culture that fills every corner of the neighborhood: fado. She quickly became a local phenomenon, with her name resonating far beyond borders.
