Mariza

The famous fado singer Mariza brings Portuguese flair to Muziekgebouw Eindhoven. Following the passing of the Queen of Fado, Amália Rodrigues, all of Portugal searched for a worthy successor, and one was found in the young Mariza. She came into contact with the voices, guitars, and memories of fado at a young age, and since her breakthrough nearly 25 years ago, she has grown into one of the most important ambassadors of the iconic Portuguese singing culture. In 2026, she celebrates her unique career with the release of her new album ‘Amor’, which reflects her journey and announces a new artistic phase: an even bolder, more global, and timeless Mariza.
