As the guitarist for De Staat, Vedran Mircetic takes the band’s music to a unique, experimental level. He is known as someone who is constantly searching for new sounds, and it’s no surprise that he is often called the “king of pedals.” Jack Pisters describes him as “The Edge of the Netherlands,” due to his complex switching systems, signal management, and the creation of sounds that are sometimes barely recognizable as guitar. In his masterclass, Vedran explores the theme “amps or modeling?,” delving into signal paths, switching systems, and the creation of unique sonic worlds.
