After a short summer tour, Matthijs van Nieuwkerk and Sven Figee come together at MgE for a concert. An evening full of music, sharp stories, and the familiar chemistry between two longtime collaborators. They’ll be joined by the Sven Hammond Big Band, who were the house band on Van Nieuwkerk’s TV show for many years. Expect soul, jazz, improvisation, and a stage crackling with energy — Matthijs and Sven are musical, raw, and in top form.
