Tickets
- Rang 1 €4,00
Pianist Max Valkenburcht Dombrowski won prizes at several competitions at a young age, including first prize at the Young Talent Competition Maassluis and the Classic Young Master Award. Max currently studies with Frank Peters (Conservatorium van Amsterdam) and Marlies van Gent. In addition to his activities as a soloist, he is also a versatile chamber musician. In this lunchtime concert, Max presents two musical narratives by two composers. On the one hand, Chopin’s Nocturnes Op. 62 offer a glimpse into the composer’s inner world. On the other hand, Ravel’s Miroirs evokes musical images of a natural landscape, viewed through the eyes of an observer.
Program
Chopin – 2 Nocturnes, Op. 62
Ravel – Miroirs, M. 43
Lunchtime concerts
Our lunchtime concerts are a delight to experience: both literally and figuratively! Taking a break in the middle of the day to relax for an hour with a nice concert in the Small Hall really makes the day feel refreshing. From piano recitals to chamber music and brass ensembles, the offerings are varied and innovative. Since we believe that emerging talent deserves a platform, our lunchtime concerts feature (recently graduated) students, competition winners, and other promising gems.
