Band Music from the Orient is a four-piece band performing acoustic interpretations of well-known songs in their own unique style. With three lead vocalists and a wide array of musical influences, the band sets itself apart through its ability to interpret diverse genres, ranging from pop music to folk songs and from classical compositions to protest songs. Alongside Turkish, and depending on the concept of the performance, they also sing in other languages such as Kurdish, Arabic, and Greek, as well as performing songs from the Balkans. Perfectly in keeping with the unique theme of the “Turkish – Greek Night”, the band will curate a repertoire of Turkish and Greek songs for this performance. For the Greek section of the evening, the band has invited guest musicians with Greek roots to make a special guest appearance.
