Full houses, a young audience; the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra (Nedpho) experienced golden years with star conductor Lorenzo Viotti. Together with Alexandre Kantorow (‘This piano star is the real deal’ – The Times), Viotti delves into the depths of Brahms. In Bartók’s masterpiece, he allows ‘his’ Nedpho musicians to shine one last time.
This is Viotti’s final program as chief conductor of Nedpho. The maestro, a former winner of the Salzburg Conducting Competition, has brought along pianist Alexandre Kantorow, the winner of the prestigious Tchaikovsky Competition in 2019.
