Porgy and Bess in Concert

Summertime – and the livin’ is easy; you’re probably singing along already! The International Symphony Orchestra from Lviv and the National Choir of Ukraine ‘Dumka,’ conducted by Raymond Janssen, will perform highlights from George Gershwin’s world-renowned masterpiece Porgy and Bess in Eindhoven. Porgy and Bess is considered a landmark work in American music history due to its innovative blend of jazz, blues, and classical music. In October, The International Symphony Orchestra from Lviv and the National Choir of Ukraine ‘Dumka’ will present this masterpiece in five concert halls across the Netherlands, featuring more than 140 young, talented, and passionate musicians who are highly regarded internationally.
