RicercarDuo, consisting of clarinetist Tommaso Torrigiani Malaspina and guitarist Massimiliano Testa, was formed in September 2024 during their studies at the Conservatorium Maastricht. Both musicians have proven themselves not only as exceptional ensemble players but also as outstanding soloists. Tommaso is renowned for his expressive playing and technical finesse on the clarinet, while Massimiliano is celebrated for his virtuosity and depth on the guitar. Together, the duo combines clarinet and guitar to create a warm, expressive soundscape.
