American singer-songwriter Rosanne Cash, described by Rolling Stone magazine as one of the most ambitious and literary songwriters of her generation, is coming to Eindhoven! As the eldest daughter of Johnny Cash, Rosanne has built up an impressive body of work of her own, which has rightly received widespread recognition in recent years. Last year saw the release of “The Essential Collection”, an overview of forty years of music, coinciding with an exhibition at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. In 2021, she became the first female composer to receive the MacDowell Medal for her exceptional contribution to American culture. Together with her husband and producer John Leventhal, she founded a record label to re-release her old music, and together they are coming to Muziekgebouw Eindhoven with a full evening programme.
