Sam Newbould Quintet

Emerging from Amsterdam’s vibrant jazz scene, the Sam Newbould Quintet has quickly established itself as a major player in the international jazz scene. Led by Yorkshire-born Sam Newbould, the quintet features Bernard van Rossum on tenor saxophone, Xavi Torres on piano, Jort Terwijn on bass, and Guy Salamon on drums. Newbould previously won the So What’s Next Talent Award for promising jazz musician, and their latest album, ‘Homing’, earned them an Edison Award nomination. After impressive performances at festivals including North Sea Jazz Festival and Jazzahead, they will now perform their playful melodies in an intimate setting at M.

The doors of M open at 4:00 PM, where you can enjoy a drink and music from the DJ. The concert by the Sam Newbould Quintet starts at 5:00 PM and runs until 6:15 PM. To wrap things up nicely, the DJ will keep playing until 7:00 PM.
