Schalk Bezuidenhout has come a long way since his humble beginnings in a strip club in his hometown of Johannesburg. His big break came when he was selected as the opening act for Trevor Noah’s Nation Wild Tour. Since then, he has rapidly become one of South Africa’s most sought-after comedians. In 2023, he performed at the prestigious Fringe Comedy Festival, and to top it all off, he released a Netflix special. Despite recently getting married, Bezuidenhout feels older, wiser, and more mature, but his primary goal remains: staying connected with the youth. The question is whether he’ll succeed…
