Need a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life? Want to escape the chaos of the city and unwind completely? Or simply enjoy a quiet evening for yourself? Then this Sound & Silence lying-down concert is just what you need. This unique concert experience stimulates the senses – listening while lying down adds a new dimension to how you engage with music. The evening begins with a custom tea ceremony curated by Björn Cocu, Master of Tea, followed by a guided session of meditation and yoga led by Erik Gijselhart from Licht op Yoga. Bring your own yoga mat, cushion, or blanket, and let yourself fully relax as you immerse yourself in Annelie’s music.
Annelie, the Dutch keyboardist and singer, took a new turn in 2023 by launching her solo career after successful collaborations with artists like Eefje de Visser and Maaike Ouboter. As a solo artist, she focuses on instrumental music with the piano at its core. Her earlier solo albums, After Midnight and Hertz, reached a wide audience and received critical acclaim. In 2024, she sold out multiple shows and surpassed 50 million streams. Her music, rooted in the pop genre, carries a melancholic, cinematic quality. On her latest album, Annelie explores electronic elements, pushing her musical boundaries even further.
