The award-winning Danish jazz duo Svaneborg Kardyb creates understated, melodic ambient jazz, drawing inspiration from Danish folk music and Scandinavian jazz influences. Pianist Nikolaj Svaneborg and drummer/ percussionist Jonas Kardyb connect in an almost telepathic interplay: pure listening, intuitive playing and music that flows naturally. Their fourth album ‘Superkilen’ (2024) has a richer and more layered sound than ever, with a blend of beautiful melodies, subtle electronics and warm, infectious grooves. After previously playing to sold-out audiences in the Netherlands, the duo now comes to Eindhoven, where they create an intimate, moving atmosphere with minimal resources. An evening full of musical tranquility and unexpected beauty.
