Teis Semey Quintet

Teis Semey is back, and his infectious Scandinavian avant-garde sounds better than ever. His music and character are described in the press as “charmingly nonchalant,” and he’s also known as the “bad boy of jazz.” After the success of Mean Mean Machine, Midnight Mess Vol. 1, and Crudo, the Danish guitar phenomenon returns to his home base with his Amsterdam quintet. This afternoon, they will present their new album En Masse!, where their signature acoustic punk sound takes the listener on an energetic and vibrant journey. The quintet consists of impressive jazz musicians: saxophonists Jesse Schilderink and José Soares, drummer Sun-Mi Hong, and double bassist Jort Terwijn.

Schedule

The doors of M open at 4:00 PM, where you can enjoy a drink and a jazz DJ. The concert starts at 5:00 PM and lasts until 6:15 PM. To wrap things up nicely, the jazz DJ will continue spinning until 7:00 PM.
