Tess Merlot & The Guillaume Marcenac Trio

The first time Tess Merlot heard Jacques Brel, it struck like lightning. She formed the band Tess et les Moutons and, after hundreds of shows, each performance still revolves around the human soul, as only French chanson can. For her second album ‘Chante la vie,’ she explored themes like loss, personal growth, and enduring love. Tess Merlot, the chansonnière of the Low Countries, toured throughout the Netherlands and performed with the Residentie Orkest in a sold-out PAARD in The Hague in 2023. She also creates podcasts and radio programs about Francophone music. On March 8th, along with pianist Guillaume Marcenac, accordionist Lars Visscher, and guitarist Jaïr Stunt, she will share her love for the chanson at Blue Note ClubSessions!

Schedule

The doors of M open at 4:00 PM, giving you the chance to enjoy a drink and a jazz DJ. The concert starts at 5:00 PM and lasts until 6:15 PM. To wrap things up nicely, the jazz DJ will play until 7:00 PM.
