Fans of THE THE are in for a treat! Led by founder and frontman Matt Johnson, the Ensouled World Tour brings an immersive mix of new wave, rock, blues, and soul to Eindhoven. The British project made a lasting impression in the 1980s with brilliant albums and timeless classics such as “Heartland,” “Dogs Of Lust,” and “The Beat(en) Generation.” Forty years ago, THE THE sang in the iconic single “The Beaten Generation” about a society increasingly running on a “diet of prejudice and misinformation.” A theme that has become more relevant than ever. Philosophical and political themes provide food for thought and are delivered through powerful old and new songs during his concert at Muziekgebouw Eindhoven.
