The American band Tower of Power has delivered top-tier funk and soul for nearly six decades. Under the leadership of Emilio Castillo and Stephen “Doc” Kupka, the group evolved into a ten-piece ensemble featuring a powerful horn section and a distinctive East Bay Grease sound. With classics such as “You’re Still A Young Man” and “What Is Hip?” they dominated the charts in the 1970s, followed by collaborations with artists like Elton John, Toto, Santana, Rod Stewart and Aerosmith. After almost sixty years, Tower of Power still performs with the same infectious joy as in their early days. Get ready for a show full of unparalleled energy and irresistible grooves!
