Talented singer-songwriters, composers, and writers from Eindhoven and the surrounding area join forces in a special creative challenge: each of them shares a valuable tradition from their life, childhood, culture, or personal experience, while also embracing renewal. In this performance, they celebrate the beauty of traditions—the connection, meaning, and continuity they bring—while creating space for growth and inclusion. The team of creators was also given this thought experiment: which traditions do we want to see in the future? Can they grow from existing ones, or will we create something entirely new? Because traditions aren’t only passed down—they are also being created right now. Expect an evening filled with stories, music, authenticity, and connection.

This performance is part of Lapiano Creative Sessions, an initiative by Guido Lap, where creators from Eindhoven and the surrounding region come together to inspire each other’s growth while supporting a good cause. Each edition brings a new combination of creative minds, resulting in performances that both inspire and contribute. The proceeds from this performance will go to Amnesty International, which fights for human rights worldwide.

For the Love of Music

Community life is an important social and cultural driving force in our society. Few things bring people together in the same way. Associations are without a doubt one of the most effective means against division in society. Both associations and individual enthusiasts or independent practitioners of amateur art are welcome at Muziekgebouw Eindhoven. With the project For the Love of Music, we are happy to open our halls to everyone who loves music: creators, artists, and musicians from Eindhoven and the surrounding region.
