The power of culture
The municipality of Eindhoven once wrote: “Culture, in particular, has the power to connect people and bring them together, regardless of education, background, or income. We see a movement among cultural institutions to harness the unifying power of culture in their programming. Culture is a force that can help people experience the city differently together.” With ‘Music for Everyone,’ we aim to reach those for whom a ticket would normally be too expensive, as they, too, deserve the right to experience culture. To achieve this, we collaborate with local partners who specialise in reaching this target group.
Cultuur-Inclusief
Cultuur-Inclusief makes art and culture accessible to all residents of the Eindhoven region, with a special focus on culture enthusiasts with limited financial means who otherwise couldn’t afford it. They offer vouchers that allow people to attend a performance of their choice four times a year at a greatly reduced rate. These vouchers are funded by visitors to cultural institutions, who can make a voluntary contribution to Cultuur-Inclusief when purchasing their tickets.
Quiet Eindhoven
Quiet Eindhoven’s mission is to play an active role in alleviating the effects of poverty through a digital sharing platform that operates without money. On a societal level, we believe that our Eindhoven community becomes stronger, healthier, and richer when everyone is included, valued, and seen. We aim to help our members experience life, rather than just survive.
In collaboration with Quiet Eindhoven, we also make tickets available for our community projects to Stichting Barka (Witaj Eindhoven) and Stichting Ik Wil (Merhaba Eindhoven).
