Great Pianists Series

It will be a remarkable piano season, with two new grand pianos in the Hertog Jan Hall. Last season, Boris Giltburg travelled to the renowned piano manufacturer Steinway & Sons to help select three new grand pianos for Muziekgebouw Eindhoven, two of which are destined for the Hertog Jan Hall. This season he will demonstrate how two of these instruments sound in concert. Both grand pianos will also be heard during a performance by the world-famous piano duo Lucas & Arthur Jussen. The series further features piano luminaries Mitsuko Uchida and Mikhail Pletnev.
